I was thinking, why …. I think it might be an issue of priorities. If we set presenting at Alt C as a priority (which it should be as it is our flag ship conference for the LTs). Then we need to be much more strategic about this. For instance, after the announcement then we should share some initial thoughts. Identify work at Bath that would meet these themes, then start to move towards active involvement in terms of evaluation. We will need to agree on some evaluation techniques, and also work on abstract writing skills. Perhaps even get some one to run a session for us.

We should set ourselves a target … a unit this size, should be contributing 2 papers a year, and a poster.
