Google Communities: the proof of the pudding is in the eating

The Elevate Team have been using Google Communities as a means of keeping a track on projects, and team meetings. I’ll admit it has been a really interesting tool, but we are under utilising it, as we meet on a daily basis, and have a number of other mechanisms to keep in us the loop. Therefore, I’m quite excited to explore the use of Google Communities as group learning tool for a module on my MBA. This module includes a pretty typical group assessment task, in writing a 3000 word group report (40% contribution) and a 30 minute presentation (60% contribution). So, given there are five of us in the team, of which three of us are part-time, and we are geographically spread, I feel it it will be a really good opportunity to put it through it’s paces 🙂
